The Bears defeated that 49ers as a home dog while the Packers were humiliated by the Vikings in Minnesota. However, the Packers were beaten bad by the Saints last season in week one and then came on a roll to make the playoffs so nobody is panicking yet in Green Bay.

These division opponents met twice last year so it is good to start with indiviual prop bet results. If you are looking for an over bet then the guy to look at is not Aaron Rodgers but instead Justin Fields. He went over in both games on his interceptions props and rushing yards props. Aaron Jones went over both times on receiving yards and AJ Dillon went over both times on rushing and receiving yards combined. I am not ready to bet on the Packers wide receivers but the Bears WRs were really consistent last season against the Packers. They combined to go over one just 1 prop bet and under on 11.

Aaron Rodgers was beaten up last week by a good Vikings team that dominated the offensive and defensive lines. The Bears will not be able to control the line the way the Vikings did and Rodgers will get a little revenge this week. On the Bears side I was not impressed with Justin Fields throwing the ball but he can really run it. I would expect at least 10+ rushing attempts and for him to break at least one for 20+. He could even end up with over 100 yards rushing in the game.

The Packers really looked like a team with a lot of new players who didn’t bother to play enough of them together in preseason games. They should be better prepared this week but I want to see which wide receivers Rodgers looks confident in before betting on them. I do feel good about betting on both running backs catching the ball because Rodgers already has confidence in them and he may still be a little weary about his offensive line. Quick passes to the back early to set up the defense for some downfield passes later in the game.
