Weekly Picks and Rules

The MegaContest

BetOnline’s $200,000 MegaContest is a free handicapping contest that runs Week 1 through Week 18 of the 2025 NFL regular season; the postseason is not included.
Registration opens on Wednesday, August 27^th, 2025 and closes on Sunday, January 4^th, 2026 at 4:25 pm ET.
Contestants must have a valid BetOnline account to register for the $200,000 MegaContest.
The contest is free to enter and contestants can receive a maximum of two (2) free entries.
Contestants with a valid account receive 1 free entry. Contestants who have made at least 1 deposit of $25 or more via cryptocurrency receive an additional entry.
If you have not made a deposit to your BetOnline account via cryptocurrency, you can visit the cashier and make a minimum $25 deposit to unlock your additional entry into the contest. Please allow up to 1 hour after making your first cryptocurrency deposit for your additional entry to appear.

How to Play

Contestants must pick five games against the spread (ATS) every week of the NFL regular season.
The contest opens for the new week every Wednesday at 12:00 pm ET. The point spreads are determined by the odds available in the BetOnline Sportsbook at the time the weekly period opens.
Once the contest point spreads are released for each game, the odds will not change for the week.
MegaContest picks can only be made online. You cannot make picks via phone, chat or email.
Once a pick is made, the pick saves automatically.
Contestants may submit and/or change picks at any time until the specified start time of each game. At the specified start time, games are no longer available for selection and any picks involving that game cannot be changed.
Contestants earn one (1) point for every correct pick and a half-point (0.5) for a push.
Contestants who submit less than five picks only receive points for selected games. Contestants who do not submit selections will not receive points.
Contestants cannot select the same side twice or select both sides of the same game on a single entry.
If a game is canceled and/or postponed, the game must be played by 2:00 am ET on Wednesday of the following week in order to earn points in the MegaContest standings. In the event that a game is not completed during this time period, selections on the canceled/postponed game will be graded as a push.
The NFL regular season must consist of at least 12 weeks for the BetOnline MegaContest to be considered official. If the regular season is shortened to less than 12 weeks, the BetOnline MegaContest will be cancelled and the $50,000 season-long prize pool will not be awarded.
At its discretion, BetOnline may adjust the weekly selection requirements or grading in the event of a widespread technical issue which affects contestants’ ability to make selections.

$200,000 in Prizes

The $200,000 MegaContest features $150,000 in weekly prizes and $50,000 cash in the season-long prize pool, along with Casino Free Spins for all winners.
The $150,000 in weekly prizes is split into 18 equal prizes of $8,333.33 paid as Sportsbook Free Bets.
The weekly prize is awarded to contestant(s) that correctly pick 5 games in an NFL week.
To qualify for the weekly prize, you must wager $10 or more in real-money through our sportsbook or casino platform during that week of NFL action.
- This period is defined as starting at 12:00 am ET the Tuesday, until the following Monday at 11:59 pm ET.

There are no tie-breaker questions. If there are ties for any prizes, the money will be split among the tied contestants, along with the next lowest prize. Example: If three entrants tie for third place, they will split the 3^rd, 4^th and 5^th place prizes. As a result, each player would win $3,500.
Season-long prizes are credited to contestant’s BetOnline accounts within 5 business days after completion of the contest.
