Nebraska has a retail sportsbook. First thing to know is that all wagers must be made in person. This means if you want to bet on your phone or from home you can still use Bovada or BetOnline to make your bets.

Sportsbook Hours & Cashing Tickets

WarHorse Sportsbook is open M-F from 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM and Sat/Sun 9:00 AM – 11:00 PM. Hours may vary due to current sports seasons or business demand. Sportsbook wagers are accepted at the kiosks 24/7.  If the sportsbook is closed, guests may redeem sportsbook tickets at the Casino Cage.

Betting Limits

The minimum sportsbook wager is $5. The maximum payout amount is $50,000. Bets can only be placed using cash. Winning tickets are valid for 90 days after the event concludes. Winning tickets may only be redeemed in person.

The IRS is Watching

Winnings are subject to IRS reporting and withholding rules, if applicable. Individual winning tickets that are at least $600 and have payout odds over 300/1 are taxable and will be processed with a W2G.

What Can I Bet On

As defined in Nebraska Statute 9-1103 – a wager may not be placed on a pro or collegiate Nebraskan team or athlete while they are playing in the state of Nebraska. A wager may be placed on a Nebraskan team when they play outside the state of Nebraska.
